I apologize for my ungracious exit from Literotica while in the middle of a series. It wasn't just any series. Venice is the missing link. I was four chapters away from completing my 132-chapter punk opus and I pulled the plug. I left a comment at the end of Chapter 12 that explains what happened. And that's all I have to say about that.
I suspect there are Venice readers who feel let down. I've done everything I can to reach out with instructions. I have mailed the links to chapters 13-15 to 44 readers over the past few days. They contacted me through Literotica. Eight more reached me this morning. I've added them to my Venice Readers mailing list. Chapter 16 goes out today via this blog.
The links to the final four chapters are at the bottom of this page.
It took me a few days to find a better way than using email. This blog is linked to my Lit profile for this purpose. It is a work in progress. I have to relearn the tools to make it appear as I wish.
I divorced Literotica, not the readers, so I'm doing my best to make it right.
I am not done writing Punks stories. I'm simply done donating my work to that website. My fiction writing will land somewhere else for sure. When that happens I will use the Venice Readers mailing list to inform those who are interested. If you are a Punks disciple who's read all four Punks Universe series, or maybe you're in the middle of that herculean task, and you'd like to be in the loop about Joe's future adventures in anxiety, email me using the Gmail address on this page and I will add you to the mailing list.
Without further delay, here are the final four chapters of The Venice Scene. These links take you directly to my docs.
One reader used an email address from @sbcglobal that is blocking my attempts to reach them. I have sent three messages, all came back blocked. (shrugs) I tried.
Been meaning to comment on this series. And frankly, while I don’t know what to compare it to from other works I’’ve read in the past? This series totally is something that totally ‘hooked’ me & kept my attention like nothing in years.
ReplyDeleteFYI, some of the past writers that I’ve followed, include Patrica Cornwell.
For folks that may not know, she’s a hugely successful author. THIS gent, in my opinion is far better. His mind & the way he generates stories is incredible. If you liked ‘Watching the Detectives’ as much as I did? Look for Don’s other, riveting works about the ‘Young Punks’ called Sons of Providence series.
You won’t be sorry. Like this series, this author has totally captivated me with his work. I look daily for any new writings by Don. It’s that satisfying to me!
I hope others will find it as entertaining as I do. All the best, Corky in KC
