Joe's band and music business bring him to New York, where he takes his vision to the next level, finding success despite the obstacles set by the music establishment. In New York, he tries to balance his music career, love life, and the expectations of family back home.

1981-1984

POSTCARDS

After a major upheaval in his life and career, Joe leaves New York in search of a place to start over and live the life he dreams of in music. His travels take him and his most trusted ally, his Cadillac, Ellie, south of the border, where he finds adventure, love, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

1984-1986

THE VENICE SCENE

Joe lands in Venice Beach, California, where he decides to give this funky and freaky LA community a chance. He settles down, finds his people, and works as hard as ever to rebuild what he lost in NYC. His new band reaches a level of success beyond The Young Punks.

1986-1991

ADVENTURES IN ANXIETY

Joe's success leads him to be reunited with the love of his life, with a twist. He dedicates himself to winning her back with a multi-year, on-and-off-again love affair that tests his love and sanity. Anxiety and pain are constant companions, as he and Tina use their love for one another and sex as weapons of manipulation.

1991-1996

VENICE V.I.P. REWARDS

Joe is surprised when a guest arrives at his doorstep in Los Angeles to collect her VIP rewards. His life takes another turn, leading him to hurt someone he loves and to scandal and tabloid headlines.

1996-1998

WHITE WEDDING

Finally, after years of struggle, plotting, and manipulation, Joe and Tina are heading to the altar. Nothing comes easy for the couple as they both attempt to manage growing success in their careers, their relationship, and a bi-coastal life. Their wedding plans become a casualty, leading to a mad scramble to plan a wedding with a hard deadline.

Everyone thinks Joe should save the Surfside from demolition, except Joe. They've even named the bar for him. Back from his wedding and Pacific Tour, performing for the troops, Joe gets caught up in a lost cause to save the dilapidated bar.
